FAQs:

How long will it take to receive my photos?

About two weeks for a mini session, and up to four weeks for anything else. I am the first to admit that I am trigger happy on the shutter — this means you can often expect more photos and memories captured, but with more images means more time to edit. I know how exciting it is to receive your gallery so if I can get them to you sooner without compromising quality or creativity, I absolutely will. A link to my gallery website will be provided where you can download photos at the highest quality.

Branded projects have a 4-6 week content creation and delivery timeline.

Will I receive a carousel?

Clients who book an hour long session are guaranteed a complementary carousel. I love, love, love to piece images together into a visual storyboard. This heightens the emotive feel of the content and portraying the adventure in its entirety. I feel as though I have grown more as a creative since I began sharing my content in this format. Getting behind the camera and creating posts feels so much more intentional when you have the ability to highlight each little moment and detail instead of limiting yourself to sharing experiences through a caption.

How would you describe your style?

My photographs are a blend of lifestyle and documentary style which means they are authentic and storytelling. I work closely with you after booking to customize your photography experience. This often includes planning an activity and incorporating your passions to elicit candid images and portray your wholesome narrative.

I will also come fully prepared with prompts to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

My editing style is true to tone and color, but influenced by film. I love including black and white edits throughout a gallery.

What is an adventure session?

From camping, hiking, road tripping, rock climbing, and so much more — I would love to plan your next adventure and accompany you along the way. Loads of photos, various activities, yummy food and drinks, and light hearted company will give you lasting memories from an epic experience! Due to the versatility of this session an inquiry is required to receive a quote.

Are the deliverables customizable?

I am happy to discuss upgrades to any of my packages (i.e. multiple locations, longer sessions), but I do not offer any downgrades at this time.

Will I receive sneak peeks?

I provide sneak peeks for 1 hour+ long sessions. You can expect to receive these photos within one week.

Will you help with what to wear?

Absolutely! I will work with you to plan an outfit through recommendations and style guides to find something that is true to your specific style, and photographs beautifully.

Jess was an absolute pleasure to work with. She tailored the photo shoot based on our interests as a couple without hesitation. She added in helpful tips for posing in a fun and respectful manor so we could get the best photos possible. Between her meeting our requests, and her pleasant/excited demeanor it made me and and my fiancé very comfortable during the whole shoot. My fiancé even said he had fun, so that truly tells you how great of a job she did! We will cherish these photos forever and look forward to working with Jess again in the future!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Jess for our Winnie the Pooh-themed maternity session. When discussing location preferences, I mentioned the Pooh Tree at Peace Valley Park. Jess and her husband went above and beyond by scouting the area in advance and coming prepared with creative ideas on the best times and spots to capture perfect shots. Jess was incredibly supportive of our various 'props' and even brought snacks, which was a delightful touch!
